  3.   If you are viewing this file and its still in an archive you must unzipped
  4.   the zip file to a temporary directory.  This will require Pkunzip, Winzip,
  5.   or another zip extracting program to extract the files.
  6.  
  7.   Once extracted you must run SETUP.EXE to install the program.
  8.  
  9.   Both Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 installation is covered below.

  12.   Installing the program in Windows 3.1

  14.   1) Installing from a temp directory using the Windows 3.1 Program Manager
  15.  
  16.      In the following example we will assume you've unzipped the files is
  17.      in the C:\TEMP  directory.

  19.   Start Windows if not running
  20.  
  21.   From the Windows Program Manager
  22.   Select: File from the menu to open the File menu (top left of screen)
  23.   Select: Run
  24.   Enter C:\TEMP\SETUP.EXE  in the input box
  25.       (you can use the Browse button to locate the directory and file)
  26.   Click on the OK button and follow the instructions.
  27.          (We recommend you  accept the defaults.)

  30.   2) Installing EZ-Index from a floppy diskette in Windows 3.1

  32.      Windows 3.1 installation from a drive A or B
  33.      In the Windows Program manager
  34.      Select: File from the menu to open the File Menu  (top left of screen)
  35.      Select: Run,
  36.      Type in-  A:SETUP.EXE  or B:SETUP.EXE  depending on which drive has the
  37.            diskette.
  38.      Select and click on the OK button.
  39.          (The program must be installed in it own directory.)

  45.   1)Installing EZ-Index from a temp directory from the Windows 95 Desktop

  47.    In the following example we will assume you've unzipped the files is in
  48.    the C:\TEMP  directory.

  51.    Select RUN  to open the input box.
  52.    Enter  C:\TEMP\SETUP.EXE   in the input box
  53.    Click on the OK button the start the installation.

  58.      Windows 95 Installation from A or B drive  (diskette)
  59.      Insert the diskette with the program into the drive.

  61.      From the Windows 95 Desktop
  62.      Click the START Button
  63.      Select: Run and Click on RUN to open the input box
  64.      Type in: A:SETUP.EXE or B:SETUP.EXE  (the drive with the diskette)
